"Don't eat anything your grandmother wouldn't recognize as food, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and lean protein, he [Dr. Dwight Lundell] recommends. (DAILY MAIL REPORTER. 29 January 2014. LINK)"
Many comebacks have roots in rags to riches, fat to thin, thin to fat, broken to healed ... MooPig editors know that you, dear reader, don't want to hear all that much about Old-Age Stuff. Because we all know there is no rebound from old-age to youthfulness as yet.

Our handy Pocket Reference on Old-Age tells us that older humans are "mostly harmless." Attrition has made its claim and that is the Crux of that Bizkit.

Possibly the most difficult thing to confess is that each of us find later in life that most, if not all of our lives' have been a fraud. Unless one makes things with his own hands, and makes a living doing those things, then most of his life is otherwise moot.

That brings us to Doctors. Apparently no one is looking out for the general good health of humans. Sure, there must be some altruistic good Samaritans in the world who are also in a position of authority, but modern Internet transparency shows that most authorities are just swank morons, holding onto their power with everything that is foul and immoral. We just really need some mothafukkers to step aside and quit gumming up our bidness.

At the referenced article:
  • Dr. Dwight Lundell has dished the dirt on 'what really causes heart disease' - processed foods
  • He admits prescribing cholesterol-lowering medications, and a low-fat, high-simple carbohydrate diet for two-and-a-half decades was misguided
  • 'These recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible,' he writes in an essay that has ignited the Internet
  • He claims these foods actively destroy the walls of our blood vessels by causing chronic inflammation, which in turn causes heart disease
  • The cardiac surgeon recommends only eating foods your grandmother, or great-grandmother, would recognize (DAILY MAIL REPORTER. 29 January 2014. LINK)
Heart surgeon confesses that processed food is slowly killing everyone and natural food is the answer | Mail Online: "Dr. Dwight Lundell has dished the dirt on 'what really causes heart disease' and he admits prescribing cholesterol-lowering medications, and a low-fat, high-simple carbohydrate diet for two-and-a-half decades was misguided. 'These recommendations are no longer scientifically or morally defensible,' he writes in an essay, that has been posted on some 250,000 Facebook pages since it appeared on a website called Tuned Body in December."
"The discovery a few years ago that inflammation in the artery wall is the real cause of heart disease is slowly leading to a paradigm shift in how heart disease and other chronic ailments will be treated. (Dr. Dwight Lundell. Dec 8, 2013. LINK)
'via Blog this' Heart surgeon declares on what really causes heart illness: "Simply stated, without inflammation being present in the body, there is no way that cholesterol would accumulate in the wall of the blood vessel and cause heart disease and strokes. Without inflammation, cholesterol would move freely throughout the body as nature intended. It is inflammation that causes cholesterol to become trapped.

Inflammation is not complicated — it is quite simply your body’s natural defence to a foreign invader such as a bacteria, toxin or virus. The cycle of inflammation is perfect in how it protects your body from these bacterial and viral invaders. However, if we chronically expose the body to injury by toxins or foods the human body was never designed to process,a condition occurs called chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation is just as harmful as acute inflammation is beneficial."

'via Blog this'  CONCLUSION It is difficult to write a short-short essay on most topics concerning health and old-age. Each life is a mosaic of patterns and works that cannot be compartmentalized in a "blog post." But we try, and it usually comes with a cost: "Too Much Information," TMI.

We enjoy this article by Dr. Dwight Lundell, because of his clever way of describing the work of our human circulatory systems. In the comments of his article many dissenters harp on about how this article is not foot-noted, and it is missing publication evidence for his claims.

We don't let stuff like that stop us from being curious. We find Dr. Dwight Lundell to be humble and ahead of the curve of authoritarians of the day. So there. His health warnings might after all send us MooPigsters on a very different path, and our notice of a diet paradigm shift will improve our lives, and our quality of old-age-life will improve.

Honestly, this is the best we at MooPig Wisdom can do concerning health and living, because to delve further would require finding primary research resources that are hidden behind pay-walls. Then we would have to solicit someone with advanced degrees to decipher those documents. Our operation is low budget, really no budget. We hope you dear reader have some input for us.

Dr. Dwight Lundell, it seems to me, has a valid point of view in that he has been cutting into human bodies and finding corroded arteries for 25 years [two and half decades]. That tells me more than a indecipherable medical paper that is hidden behind paywalls, and would take advanced degrees to read. Hands on, up in your face, advice is important.

Yes, there are skinny fat people and fat skinny people but there are few old fat people. I think I will take his "colloquial" advice to heart.
